If I gave you $1, could you turn it into $100 in two hours? This was the challenge posed by Stanford University professor Tina Seelig in her creativity class.
Students were given $5 as seed money and two hours to generate as much profit as possible. The winning team didn’t focus on the $5 but instead identified unmet needs. They sold their three-minute presentation time to a company for advertising, earning $650.
The lesson? Success comes from understanding others’ needs and adapting quickly.
